Fulfilling Training Benchmark Requirements May Become More Difficult!
From March 2018 onwards, the 457 visa will be replaced by the new TSS Visa. Following which, changes will be made to Training Benchmark requirements for employers.
While we have yet to hear about the changes, we recommend that migration agents and lawyers inform their clients on the upcoming change and fulfil the necessary training requirements before the implementation. To remained as an approved sponsor, It is necessary that your clients satisfy the Training Benchmark requirements. Failure to comply would most likely lead to a revoke of their SBS approval, which is definitely not what your clients would want. It is in the clients' best interest that the training requirements are met, before any change is implemented.
